EDWARD PRIDEAUX Suddenly on Wednesday, April 29th, 2009 at home with family present, Edward passed away after a short fight with cancer. Edward was the last remaining son of Dorothy and Alfred Prideaux. Edward's loving wife, Margaret, passed in 1996. Edward was predeceased by his six brothers and sisters, Art, Alfred, Dorothy, George, Irene and Dennis. He leaves in mourning, his two sons, Alfred (Betty), and Barry (Debbie). Also, two grandchildren, Shane (Jaime) and Tamara (Callum), two great-grandsons Dominik and Cole, and one great-granddaughter, Abby. A long time employee of C.P. Express 39 one-half years, retired 19 years. An avid camper, bowler and enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to send a special thank you to palliative care and especially Nurse Anne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. A celebration of Edward's life will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
