PETER BECK Peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2009, Peter Beck passed away at the age of 82. Remaining to forever cherish his memory are his sisters: Polly Rymowicz, Dorothy, Helen, Meroslawa Horbas (Ed), Violet, his brother Nick (Mary Ann), and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Beck, sister Ann, and brother-in-law Joe Rymowicz. Peter was born on June 24, 1926 at Carlowie Manitoba. He grew up with a strong work ethic and worked hard on the family farm until 1969 when he moved to Winnipeg. He was employed at Modern Building Cleaners. He also dedicated many hours to helping at the church. Peter enjoyed singing, dancing, bowling, golfing, and travelling. The highlight was his trip to Italy. He will be remembered in our hearts as a kind and loving person. Thank you to the staff at the Holy Family Nursing Home for their compassionate care. Prayers will be held on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 7:00 pm at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 10:00 am at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with interment to follow. His Pallbearers will be his nephews.
