Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAREN VERA BEAULIEU Karen Vera Beaulieu was born on January 23, 1953 in Gladstone Manitoba. She passed away suddenly at 56 years of age on June 21, 2009. Karen found great joy in her seven grandchildren, her sons and daughters-in-law and her boys , Clifford Beaulieu, Tracy, Kinew, Dyami, Kacia, Raymie and Fayth, Martin Beaulieu Jr. (Ducky), April, Sage, Elizabeth, and Daniel and Norbert McIvor. Karen truly enjoyed joking and playing with her numerous nieces and nephews. She loved to make everyone laugh with her witty sense of humour. Her heart was made with pure gold, this was seen in her acceptance of everyone she came into contact with. Karen was predeceased by her husband Martin Beaulieu in 2002 and her daughter Shawna Lyn in 1974, both whom she sadly missed and held dear in her heart. Karen lost her mother and father, Lena and Andrew Spence at a very young age. She was also predeceased by her brothers Lloyd Spence, Leslie Spence, Russell Spence, Frankie Spence, Larry Spence and Alvin Spence, and by her sisters Patsy Spence, Doreen Spence, Noreen Spence and Caroline Spence. Karen will be sadly missed by her brothers, Clarence Spence and Brian Spence, and sisters, Dorothy Houle, Mary and Henry Roulette, and Betty and Lloyd Houle, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Wake began on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the Sandy Bay First Nation Complex at 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady Of Angels Catholic Church in Amaranth with Father Roy George Vashaplankudiyil officiating. Pallbearers will be Allan Houle, Dwayne Spence, Cliff (Sam) Roulette, Sean Spence, Allan Spence and Russell Spence. All nieces and nephews to be considered honourary pallbearers.
