WILLIAM (BILL) QUAYLE William (Bill) Quayle died peacefully on July 29, 2009 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Evelyn in 2006 and is survived by his daughter Leslie-Ann Hoole (Arthur), grandsons Grant and Trent (Richard) as well as his great-grandson Sebastian. Bill was born in the Isle of Man and emigrated to Winnipeg as a young child. He was raised and educated in Winnipeg and lived his entire life here, retiring in 1976 after 42 years of service with the City of Winnipeg. He served as City Clerk for the last 10 years of his career. Bill was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, much loved by his family. He will always be a special memory and the family is grateful for his long and healthy life. Thank you to the Grace Hospital Staff for their friendly professional support. Thanks also to the management and staff of Westhaven Retirement Residence for providing a contentful home for Bill. Cecilia, Marianne and Erica are especially acknowledged for their kindness.
