GREGORY GEORGE THOMAS A week shy of his 51st birthday our dear Greg passed away on August 6, 2009 after a short battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Left to celebrate his life is his wife Lisa (Elisabeth) and son Joshua; mother, Donna; father George; and brother, Richard. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends throughout Canada. Greg was born in Vancouver in 1958 and moved to Winnipeg in 1967 where he attended Fort Richmond Collegiate. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Interior Design in 1986. For the past 11 years he has been joint proprietor of Frame Works and Gallery with his wife, Lisa where he displayed his talent for attention to detail daily. Greg particularly enjoyed designing and building furniture, and his apple pies were well known within his circle of family and friends. He is going to be missed more than words can say. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Interment will follow the service and reception will be held in the Fort Garry Room of Thomson In The Park Funeral Home.
