Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON CLIFFORD RASMUSSEN March 14, 1931 - September 6, 2009 It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Gordon Clifford Rasmussen on September 6, 2009 at the Victoria General Hospital following a brief illness, with his family at his side. Left to cherish his memory are: his wife Frances (nee Schrof), step-sons Barry and Randy (Ginette) Schinkel, grandchildren Keith (Armelle), Scott, Nikki (Jeff), Leanne (Graham) and great grandson Jeremie. Sisters Laurine Ammeter and Georgina Kilt, sisters-in-law Alice Rasmussen and Phyllis Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Maggie and Severn, brothers Harold, Ernest, Lawrence, Sydney and Clayton, Sisters Myrtle, Vivian, Doris, Judith and Effie, and step-son Rick Schinkel. Gordon lived all his life in the Starbuck area, and retired from the Municipality of MacDonald in 1995 after 30 years as an equipment operator. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the 5th floor at the Victoria General Hospital for their care. In respect of Gordon's wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
