JULIEN ROBERT DEWYN Pacifiquement, avec sa famille à son côté et après un court, mais vaillant combat contre le cancer, Julien Robert DEWYN, à l'âge de 81 est décédé le 14 septembre 2009. Il laisse à chérir ses souvenirs, sa femme de 61 ans, Jacqueline, ses deux fils - Joel and Jacques (Marlene) et ses quatre petits-enfants - Yvette (Dustin), Michelle, Jennifer et Christopher. Julien est né à Mouscron, Belgique en 1928. Julien, avec sa femme et son jeune fils, Joel, immigre à Winnipeg en 1953. Après plusieurs durs emplois et un période d'apprentissage, il a possédé et exploité sa propre entreprise de chauffage et gouttières qui a duré vingt-cinq ans. Pendant ce temps et après, il a réussit également à prévoir et de construire de nombreuses maisons dans et autour la ville de Winnipeg. Il avait un grand amour et attachement pour ses petits-enfants et a toujours aimé d'entendre leurs histoires, participé a leur activités et ces visites avec eux. Il a aussi apprécié la campagne et les promenades en forêt et flore. Il sera manqué par tous ceux qui l'avaient connu. Un merci particulier a le personnel de la 3E Riverview Health Centre pour leurs soins et attention dans son temps de besoin et aussi pour leurs gentillesse envers la famille. Un mémorial familial privé sera organisé. Au revoir mon marie, père et grand-père. Tu seras toujours dans nos coeurs. JULIEN ROBERT DEWYN Peacefully, with family at his side, and after a short but valiant battle with cancer, Julien Robert Dewyn, at the age of 81, passed away on September 14, 2009. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 61 years Jacqueline, his two sons - Joel and Jacques (Marlene) and his four grand children - Yvette (Dustin), Michelle, Jennifer and Christopher. Julien was born in Mouscron, Belgium in 1928. Julien, along with his wife and young son Joel, immigrated to Winnipeg in 1953. After several hard labour jobs and an apprenticeship period, he owned and operated his own heating, sheet metal and eaves troughing business for 25 years. During that time and after, he also managed to plan and construct many houses in and around the Winnipeg area. He had a great love and attentiveness for his grandchildren and always enjoyed hearing their stories, participating in their activities and sharing visits. He also enjoyed the countryside, walks in the woods and bird watching. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A special thanks to the 3E staff of Riverview Health Centre for their care and attention in his time of need and for their caring attitude towards the family. A private family memorial will be held.
