Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRACHEL KASPRICK ( nee PROULX ) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rachel Kasprick, on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Concordia Hospital, with her family by her bedside. Rachel was born in Winnipeg on December 26, 1971. She is survived by her husband Brent; children, Alyssa, Matthew and Daniel; parents, Albert and Darlene Proulx; brother Lorre (Teri); sisters, Trish (Ray), Angie (Bill), Michelle (Bill), Debbie (Glen) and many nieces and nephews; her in-laws, Dave, Jeannette and Darrel. Rachel fought a brave two year battle with breast cancer, but the Lord called her home. She will be sadly missed by her numerous friends and her pet Sparky. The family would like to thank the Oncology department at St. Boniface Hospital, Radiology at CancerCare Manitoba and the 3rd floor staff for the wonderful care Rachel received at the Concordia Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Gerard Parish, 45 Foster St.

I will always remember Rachel as a teenager. She was one of my favorite students and we shared talks together. At the time, she hoped one day to become a police officer and I thought she would be great at it! She was very insightful, bright, curious and had a knack for reading other people'S emotions, which is a rare, special quality that I admired very much. Because of the depth of her loving nature, I know she made a fabulous mother.
