WILLIAM (BILL) POWERS February 4, 1929 - October 2, 2009 Bill was born in Winnipeg. He attended Gordon Bell High School. He met his future wife, Lorraine Horton while they were both working at the Free Press. They married in 1952. In 1960, they moved with their two young daughters to California. Another daughter and son were born in California. The family lived in Anaheim for over 30 years, then Bill and Lorraine moved to Corona, CA, 12 years ago. Bill is survived by his wife Lorraine, daughters Joan (Mike) Denney, Susan Powers, Kelly (Kevin) Symmes, son Dean Powers, three grandchildren and two sisters. A Celebration of his life will be held in California.
