RUSSELL PRASOL With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Russell Prasol. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Ksenia. He leaves behind his loving wife Alexandria (Sandi), his four children, David (Lorna), Samantha, Vernon (Rosemarie), Janice (Bill), three grandchildren, Jillian, Allison, Anna-Marie, and many friends. Born on August 19, 1933, Russell was raised in Winnipeg, where he was involved in many volunteer activities like the church choir and St. John's Ambulance. He spent 43 years working at CP Rail until retirement, he continued with church volunteer work. His passing has left us all with a deep sense of loss. We wish to extend our deepest thanks to all the professionals who helped make his final days comfortable. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Mary the Protectress Cathedral. Public viewing will take place on Thursday October 29, 2009, at St. Mary the Protectress Cathedral, 820 Burrows Avenue; at 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held immediately following the viewing.
