MARIA CONCHITA SAGUN NAVARRETE September 19, 1962 - October 24, 2009 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister Maria at the age of 47 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Roehl, daughter Maristel and son Justin; Maria's mother Virginia, father-in-law Felisicimo Navarrete, grandmother Guadalupe and siblings Corazon, Erlinda (Johnny) and Alejo (Rowena); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, their families and many dear friends. Maria was the oldest of four children and 35 cousins. Maria immigrated to Canada on November 16, 1975 with her family from the Philippines. Maria was a strong, caring and loving person. She always had a smile on her face. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her and those she came into contact with. Maria will be remembered and live in our hearts forever. Lamay (viewing) will be held Friday, October 30, between 7:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with Prayers said at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, St. Joseph's Parish, Andrews Street at Mountain Avenue with Father Kevin Smith celebrant. Cremation to follow the Mass. The family would like to thank the staff of Victoria General Hospital Oncology Clinic and the Palliative Care nurses for your loving care and support.
