HAROLD EDWARD NEAL Remembrance Day, November 11, 2009 Harold passed away at Goodwin Lodge, Teulon, Manitoba. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Eva, their children Robert (Linda), Lyla (Dave), Dennis (Cindy), Arlene (Keith); their grandchildren Leora (Justin), Bart (Jaclyn), Jennifer (Frankie), Matthew (Leah), Corey, Mary Beth (Neil), Kalene, Kyle, Charity (Lenny); their great-grandchildren Shayla, Ciera, Shiloh, Lila; his sister Eleanor and her family; brother Weston; Eva's siblings and their families, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Arthur, and dear grandson Kurt. Harold was born October 27, 1927, in Killarney, MB, and was raised on the family farm southwest of Inwood, MB. Losing his parents at a young age, his life of looking after the farm started in his early teens. Harold loved the farm, the cattle, making hay, and the quiet, peaceful country life. He enjoyed the time spent with the boys of the baseball and hockey teams he coached. The many trips he and Eva took to British Columbia to see dear friends and family. He was a strong and loving family man who enjoyed the simple things in life. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Teulon Rockwood Centennial Centre on Monday, November 16, at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Goodwin Lodge, Teulon, Manitoba, where Harold has been so well cared for by the very caring staff for the last 27 months.
