EUDOKIA (BABA) PYRCZAK (nee Perih) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Baba, Great-Baba, and Aunt Eudokia Pyrczak, of the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home on November 12, 2009. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lena (Gordon) Beck; son Joe (Maryann) of Williams Lake, BC; her special daughter Lillian (Steve) Cook of Fort McMurray, AB, her niece Joanne (Gerald) Mooney of Edmonton AB; grandchildren Leona (Lawrence) Gislason of Arborg, MB; Darrell (Eleanor) Beck of Fisher Branch; Leyette (Stefan) Beck of Winnipeg, MB; Darrick (Paige) Beck of Winnipeg MB; Natasha (Jamie) Andrei of White Horse, YT; Joseph (Namlisa) Pyrczak Jr. of Fort McMurray, AB; great-grandchildren Kyle and Kira Gislason; Hannah, Madison and Jade Beck; Katelynn and Branden Dickey; Josephine Laquette; Conrad, Thomas and Ava Andrei; along with a great niece and great nephews as well as great-great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased be her husband Joseph (1981), her brother Joe Perih, her infant sons Henry and twins, Peter and Paul, her sister Michalena, and her parents Pearl and Bill, as well as four brothers. Mom was born in Poland April 8, 1921. She immigrated to Canada in 1954, settling in McKenzie Island, ON. After Dad's passing, Mom moved to a senior's complex in Red Lake, ON. Later when she required personal care Mom moved to the Arborg Personal Care Home and then to the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home in 1999 so she could be near her family. Before emigrating from Germany Mom was a seamstress by trade. She was known for her excellent cooking and preserves, as well as her love for gardening which were mainly flowers. She especially was fond of horses. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the care given by the staff of the Personal Care Homes in Fisher Branch and Arborg; the doctors and nurses of the Percy Moore Hospital in Hodgson; Sister Agnes; the Penner family for their visits and picking Mom up for their Widows' Supper; Karl Hofer of Marble Ridge Colony for his wonderful carpentry. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fisher Funeral Home in Fisher Branch, with Father Paul Bisson officiating. Interment is to take place at a later date in Balmertown, ON. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, a donation in Eudokia's memory may be made to the Fisher PCH Foundation Inc., Box 198 Fisher Branch, MB R0C 0Z0 or the Children's Wish Foundation Winnipeg Chapter, lower level 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2.
