Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY PROST (nee LUMSDEN) Peacefully, after a long and full life, Mary passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the Misericordia Health Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 88 years. Remaining to forever cherish Mary's memory are her sons Larry Prost and Jim Prost; daughter Cathy Spence (Gordon); grandchildren David Spence, Elizabeth and Leslie Edwards; nieces Margaret Anne Cahan (Craig), Alice Middleton (Toby); nephew Sandy Middleton and great-niece Leanne (Adam); great-nephews Joel and Alex and great-great-nephew Owen. She was predeceased by her husband John Stephen Prost. As per Mary's request there will be no formal funeral service. A private celebration of her life will be held by the family at a later date. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Cornish 6 at the Misericordia Health Centre for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 1080 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3.
