ELMA MARGARET (WEIST) POSYNIAK Elma Margaret Posyniak, 84, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at McCall Hospice House. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Henry Posyniak. Born in Odessa, Saskatchewan, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Pius and Elizabeth (Wagner) Weist. Mrs. Posyniak was a homemaker and member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Maruca and husband, Tony, of Winnipeg, Canada and Maria Spellman and husband, Thomas, of Simpsonville; a sister, Irene Halter of Regina, Canada; four grandchildren, Victoria Spellman, Kristin Ellsworth, David Maruca and Matthew Maruca; and two great-grandchildren, Nathan Ellsworth and Madelaine Ellsworth. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680. A private family prayer service will be held Friday, December 18, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
