Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD (LEN) QUILLIAM Leonard (Len) Quilliam passed away peacefully on December 20, 2009 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his beloved wife May in 1996 and is survived by his son Michael (Noreen), his grandchildren Jeffrey and Laura, and his sister Brenda (Albert). Len was born in the Isle of Man and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1953. He began his career in the building trade and worked his way up to being Supervisor of Physical Plant of the St. James-Assiniboia School Division. He retired in 1985. He proudly served with the British Army in Egypt during the Second World War. Len was an active member of the Winnipeg Male Chorus, the Crestview United Church choir and the Masons. He was also an avid golfer. Thank you to the staff at the Grace Hospice for their wonderful support. Thanks also to the management and staff of Westhaven Retirement Residence for providing a very comfortable home for Len. According to Len's wishes, a private family celebration will be held.
