RHEA FRANCES PORTEOUS It is with sadness, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away December 29, 2009 after a battle with cancer, in Stonewall Hospital. She was born February 7, 1923 in Derbyshire, England. She was predeceased by her husband Burns Porteous. She is survived by three sons Robert (Margetta) of Germany, Gerald (Shirley) of Woodlands, Mervin (friend Leanne) of BC; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, sister Barbara, brother Seaton (Red) Coleman, good friend Albert Potts, sisters-in-law Norma and Violet, many nieces and nephews. Rhea enjoyed curling and crafts. Thank you to the staff and doctors at Stonewall Hospital and to the pallbearers. Private burial took place at Woodlands Cemetery on December 31, 2009.
