TRAVIS PRICE November 10, 1987 - January 8, 2004 The dates above begin the memoriam, That I most lovingly will send; I refer to the dates of Travis' life, From the beginning to the end. We note that first came the date of his birth, And speak of the following date with tears; But we know what matters most of all, Is the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time, That he spent alive on earth; And now all those who love him, Know what that little line is worth. Travis was one to live his life, And consider what's true and real; He always tried to understand, The way other people feel. A gentle giant , not quick to anger, He showed appreciation more, And loved the people in his life, Like they've never been loved before. He treated others with respect, And more often wore a smile; Not knowing that this special dash, Might only last a little while. So when my memoriam is being read, With my life's actions to rehash, I hope to mirror how you lived, And how you spent your dash. - Lovingly remembered always, Aunty Weez and Matthew.
