Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I have just visited the Native American museum in Washington D.C. And couldn't wait to look up Garry Raven an see what he has written. I have always appreciated the inclusion of nature in Native American 'religion' it makes so much more sense than all of these religions that put people above everything else. Garry Raven was a gifted and eloquent speaker. I am sad that he has passed on and I am glad that He was able to share his gifts with the world before he moved on. I will still be looking for more of his writings / work. Peace and love to his family and friends. - Posted by: Lisa Fisher (Inspired by Garry Raven) on: Jul 14, 2015

  • I just wanted to say I was in the First Nations Museum (Sorry, not it's real name) in Washington DC and read quotes from Garry Raven which sparked my soul. They were perfect Truth and came from a deep wisdom. Thank you Garry. - Posted by: Robin () on: May 31, 2015

  • Even after 4 years I still miss you coming to the school and singing songs with us. Even tho the boys didn't really wanna and was being disrespectful you still tried to show them everyone knew how happy you were and how much you wanna share your wisdom and tried to get us to sing the wolf song with you but no one wanted to because mostly everybody was shy. I would always come to you when I see you in the hallways and you would always tell me that everything will be okay it's only temporary. Very feeling is temporary and crying is healing. You are still very missed and loved. Even after 4 years since you passed - Posted by: Daveada young (Student) on: Nov 29, 2014
