ROBERT (BOB) BEATTY 1935 - 2010 On February 5, 2010, Bob passed away at Oakview Place. Bob is survived by his son Jed and his wife Diane of Vancouver, sister Dolores Skakun and daughter Roberta and family; sisters, Margaret, Joan, Gloria and brother Mitchel, as well as numerous nieces and nephews all of Ontario. He was predeceased by both his parents, sisters Helen and Elizabeth. Bob joined the army in 1950, leaving Shilo to serve three years in Germany. Bob worked as a pipeline welder in Europe for 35 years, retiring in Holland. He returned to Canada in 1994 living in Ontario for two years before moving to Winnipeg where he stayed. We would like to thank the staff at Oakview Place, 2nd Floor for their care. Bob enjoyed his home there. Thank you to Allison at the Public Trustees Office for everything that she has done for Bob. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. Memorial donations may be made to Oakview Place. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
