JOSEF RAUCH Peacefully on March 10, 2010 at Riverview Health Centre, Josef Rauch, beloved husband of Rose, passed away at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by his parents and sister Frieda, Joe leaves to mourn his passing, wife Rose; son Paul; daughter Carolin; son-in-law Urs and granddaughter Nicole. He is also survived by his sisters, Maria Rauch and Hilda (Rolf) Henning; his brothers, Frank and Bob Rauch; brothers-in-law, Jerry Mohr and Tony Ritlbauer and his wife Katherina and many nieces, nephews and friends. Joe was born March 29, 1938 in Uterlog, Slovania and came to Canada in 1953. Joe was a Journeyman Tinsmith and was employed with C.P.R. for 40 years until his retirement. Joe enjoyed spending time at the cabin he built with his family and especially liked spending time back on his farm where he could enjoy the peace and quiet. He will be sadly missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joe's name to CancerCare Manitoba or the Manitoba Diabetes Association. The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Riverview Health Centre on 3rd Floor East for all the special care and attention they showed Joe. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
