MARTIN EDWARD BEHR December 2, 1947 - April 6, 2010 It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Martin, loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle on April 6, 2010 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Martin leaves behind to lovingly miss him, his wife Dianne, his son Trevor (Kelly), grandson Derick, grandchild to be, and his two special boys Gabe and Seth and his beloved dog Rocky. His in-laws Jack and Betty Rodie, brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug (Jan) Rodie, Karen (Doug) Hill, Ken (Barb) Rodie, Michael (Oressa) Rodie, Tanis (Anthony) Magnifico, nieces and nephews Sean, Charmayne, Christopher, Scott, Shannon, Dustin, Marissa, Bernice, April, and Amber; great-nieces and nephews Kaitlyn, William, Amaya, Landen, and Gracie. Martin's first place of employment was at Park Hill Bedding then he drove Taxi for a short time. His trucking career of 37 years started at Midland Fruit, Codville, Agora and Sobeys. Martin retired in April 2005. In 1999, Martin and Dianne began a second career as Foster parents. Martin had a wonderful sense of humour and especially loved children and animals. He enjoyed special holidays and loved decorating for Halloween and Christmas. The family would like to thank the WPFS, Seven Oaks Emergency and 5th Floor staff for the care and compassion shown to Martin. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
