EMILIEN (EMIL) PREFONTAINE It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Emilien (Emil) at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora, ON on May 5, 2010 with his loving family at his side. Emilien was born in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB on July 31, 1923 to Gertrude and Amedee Prefontaine. At his request, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Notre Dame du Portage Church in Kenora, ON at 1:00 p.m. with Father Rudy Manaloto presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation, 21 Sylvan Street West, Kenora, ON P9N 3W7, the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
