HETTIE MARGARET BEATTY (nee Siddons) Born March 9, 1928 in Delburne Alberta, deceased May 13, 2010. Hettie Beatty passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Hettie was predeceased by her mother Lottie and father Leonard, brothers: Frank, Ken, and Reg, former husband Russell and loving partner Frank. Hettie will be lovingly missed by her daughters: Sharon (Dave), Angie (John), Frances (Charlie) and sons: Philip (Kathy) and Clifford Lindsay, grandchildren: Dawn (Marvin), Patrick (Dana), Jason (B.J.), Scott (Tracy), Michael (Lori), and Shane, as well as numerous great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of the Oakview Extendicare Nursing Home for their kindness and support of Hettie over the last year and a half. Also thanks to the staff of the Concordia Intensive Care Unit for their outstanding care over the past few weeks. We would also like to recognize the care provided initially by the Grace Emergency Department. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with interment and reception to follow.
