Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Elsie was my mother Doris' older sister and more like a 2nd motherto me Elsie and Phil lived in Hamilton as I was growing up in the 50-60's and they were always around us either at their house or ours. They were my parents best friends during those years. Elsie was very kind and always upbeat. She loved her husband Phil who passed in 1992 in Hamilton. Elsie was an amazing cook. Phil and her had to restaurants - Phil's Cafe in Hamilton on Cannon St. until the 60's - the sold it ad then they relocated and opened another restaurant in Russell Manitoba on the main street. She was selfless and donated her body to science. I think of her often and miss those phone calls that ended too soon. - Posted by: Robert Michael Hnatyshyn (Aunt ) on: Jan 04, 2022
