Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE PHYLLIS PRYCHITKO March 22, 1944 - July 24, 2010 Peacefully, surrounded by family, we lost our best friend, Mom, Baba, Wife. Marjorie was born in Canora, Saskatchewan. Her parents moved her and four sisters, Annie, Vicky, Sophie and Joyce as young girls to Winnipeg where she grew up and went to school. Marjorie graduated from Daniel McIntyre in 1962. She was employed as an office assistant at Retail Credit Company until 1966. Marjorie met Terry, her husband of 45 years, on June 30, 1962 and they were married September 18, 1965. After the birth of their first child Paul in 1966 Marjorie began her second career as homemaker extraordinaire. Daughter Tammy (husband Boyd Manchester) and son Jon (wife Keri Prychitko) completed their family. Marjorie and Terry built their home and raised their family in Winnipeg. Marjorie supported Terry in his career as a chartered accountant and was invaluable in her support as he began a successful firm of his own. Marjorie worked then both at home and in the office for over 15 years. Marjorie loved and was so proud of all her grandchildren Allison, Coletan, Matthew, Kathryn, Mallory and James. Marjorie enjoyed time at the family cottage in Sioux Narrows, Ontario - fishing from the boathouse, watching her children and grandchildren enjoy the lake. Also she enjoyed travelling with Terry to many destinations including Florida, Mexico, California, Hawaii, and most recently to Arizona for February and March of this year. It was always a special occasion at Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving or any time you were invited or just stopped by and Marjorie (aka Baba) would prepare meals which were delicious and bountiful. Marjorie is irreplaceable. We are thankful to have had the time we did with her and will miss her monumentally. We are grateful to all of our family and friends for support during her illness in these last few months for their love, friendship and support. A memorial service in Marjorie's memory will take place 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mitrat M. Buyachok officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Should friends wish, a donation may be made to a charity of their choice in Marjorie's memory.
