WALTER NIVEN The phone rings but it isn't you calling The door opens but you are not standing there Your smells travel through the air But we cannot see you. Your laughter circles through the house. A year has already come and gone without your smile and your hugs. Not all the tears in the world could bring you back to us. We miss you so much. Time is so hard without you behind us. We see you living on in everyone you knew but it still isn't you. It seems like only yesterday we were all together. Everyday is a challenge without you by our sides but we know that you are where you are meant to be. Daddy the pain is still so strong I miss you each and everyday.
