MARY PUTZ (nee THIESSEN) 1912 - 2010 Peacefully at Golden West Centennial Lodge on September 27, 2010, Mary passed away at the age of 98 years old with her family at her side. Mary is survived by and will be deeply missed by her son Donald, daughter-in-law Ingrid and grandsons Steven and Scott. She is also survived by one sister, Sue, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Alois in 1965, as well as her parents, and many brothers and sisters. Mary was born in 1912 in Chortitza, Ukraine. She had a long and varied life and enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking, going for long walks, and spending time with her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge for all of their care and kindness. At the request of Mary, a private funeral service will be held and she will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
