LINDA JOANNE THOMPSON Tuesday, February 22, 1949 Friday, September 10, 2010 It's with deep sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved Linda, mom, sister, auntie, cousin, grandmother and friend. Peacefully in the early morning of September 10, 2010, at the Concordia Hospital, Linda passed away with her son Todd and his wife Kari at her bedside. Linda left us to join our other Angels. Left to cherish Linda's memory are son Todd Thompson (Kari), grandchildren Niky and Kayty; brother Ken Thompson (Gayle) of Hillcrest, AB; sisters Jackie Roulston (Dennis); sister and best friend Sandra Watts who Linda shared a home with for many years; niece and shopping partner Shelly Wellnitz, the greatest joys of Linda's life, HER BOYS, Tyler Watts, Cody Wellnitz, D. J. Watts and her dog Charlie. Linda was predeceased by her father John Thompson in 1972; her mother Agnes Thompson in 2009; brother Donnie Thompson in 2005; niece Wanda Laurie Watts in 1989. A special thank you to our cousins Audrey Wilson for Linda' smile after her phone call the day before her passing and Vivian and Danielle Shankaruk for all the hours sitting with Shelly and Jackie at the Hospital and being with Sandra at this sad time, plus everything Vivian did for our family. In keeping with Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. A family dinner was held at Linda and Sandra's home on September 11, 2010. As you grew old, An angel walked down the road with you, And, when you died, Another angel got their wings.
