MICHALINA (MOLLY) PRYSTANSKI The family sadly announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and nana , Michalina (Molly) Prystanski. Molly passed peacefully in her bed at Holy Family Nursing home on October 2, 2010. Molly was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph, brothers Walter (Cull) and Sandy (Cull), sisters Nelly (Kotyk) and Helen (Kulcyzycka). Left to cherish her memory are daughters Carole, Joany (Dale) and Barbara (Ted), granddaughters Michelle and Terra (Rich), grandsons Jimmy (Tammie) and Tuigg (Weslyn). Molly will also be lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren Matthew, Brendan, Katie, Emma and Sebastian. Molly was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on November 20, 1919. She attended Holy Ghost school as a child. After marrying her sweetheart Chop , Molly resided in both Grande Prairie, Alberta, eventually settling in the North End of Winnipeg to raise their three daughters. Molly took pleasure in many hobbies. She had a love for gardening, re-finishing furniture, sewing, crossword puzzles and playing the slots. However, nobody could deny that Molly's true passion in life was animals, especially her cats. Molly will be remembered by her family and friends as a woman of great strength and character, who had a kind heart filled with unconditional love. She demonstrated generosity, kindness and forgiveness in her daily life. Molly gave all of herself to everyone she cared about. She will be truly missed. The family would like to offer their appreciation and thanks to the caring staff at Holy Family Nursing Home who always went above and beyond the call of duty when caring for our loved one. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Molly's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to Holy Family Nursing Home. Now at rest Mom, free from pain You're with Daddy now Together again.
