Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGIOVANNI PROVENZA Giovanni passed away peacefully on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 3:00 a.m. in the Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 77 years. He was predeceased by two brothers and sister-in-law, Vincenzo and Lina, and Salvatore. He leaves to mourn his passing loving wife of 47 years, Maria; daughter Rosa (Antonino) Costanzo and grandchildren Anthony, Loriana and Olga; daughter Antonietta (Vincenzo) Cutrona and grandchild Stefanie; uncle Giuseppe (Margherita) Troia; sister Rosalia (Gaetano) Rizzo, brother Francesco (Maria) Provenza; sister Francesca (Giovanni) Ciulla; brotherAntonino (Giuseppina) Provenza; sister-in-law Anna (Gerardo) Boniello; brother-in-law Salvatore (Allison) Bergamorto; brother-in-law Gaetano Bergamorto and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Born on January 16, 1933 in Capaci, Sicily, he moved to Winnipeg in 1957 and worked at CN Rail for 33 years. His passions included gardening, hunting and fishing. A special thanks to Dr. Salem, nurses and staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their outstanding care and support. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the Canadian Liver Foundation 21-375 York Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J3 Viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to the Funeral Mass. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Rev. Father Renato Pasinato celebrant.
