Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEON ARTHUR BEAULIEU Leon Arthur Beaulieu passed away peacefully at 89 years of age on November 4, 2010. Born December 1, 1920 in Lac du Bonnet to Francois Beaulieu and Leontine (nee Dubé). Leon was the oldest of five children. Moving to Winnipeg at a young age, Leon spent his youth working in his dad's store on DesMeurons. He enjoyed competitive cycling and roller dancing in his teens. Having met the love of his life, Leon married Mary Bridget Eastveld on 24 May 1943. In addition to his wife, Leon is survived by their son Anthony Leon (Tony) and wife Elaine, grandchildren Christian and Michelle, great- grandchildren Cory and Isabelle, his sister Lorraine Bucci of Montreal and many in-laws, nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, and siblings, Dennis, Dora and Jeanette. In their adult years, Dad and Mom enjoyed many family vacations and later travelled together to many foreign destinations. He retired from Burns Foods Ltd. after 40 plus years where he rose from sales to Eastern Canada sales manager. At his request, cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date. A private family celebration of Dad's life will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
