MARIA DO CARMO RAULINO Suddenly on November 12, 2010 with family by her side, Maria passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 88 years. Maria is survived by her children Luis (Zinalia), Lucia, Vidalia (Alvaro), Jose, Conseçao (Ron), Mario (Zenaida), Maria (Nestor), Emanuel (Jackie); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sister Santo; numerous other relatives and friends in Canada, United States and Portugal. She was predeceased by her husband Jose; brothers Jose and Manuel; sister Natalia; son Joao Carlos and granddaughter Michelle. Maria was born in Sao Miguel, Portugal and came to Canada in 1978. She loved being with her family the most and taking long car rides. Maria loved her dessert. The family would like to thank the staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Monday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 16 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maria's memory to a charity of your choice.
