EVELYN PRESLEY Evelyn Presley passed away on January 8, 2011 at St. Boniface Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Evelyn was born on December 19, 1952 in Winnipeg, MB. She planned on retiring this year after celebrating 25 years of service at Red River College where she worked as a Services Facilitator for students who need special accommodations. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Manitoba Deaf and Blind Association for the last 14 years. Evelyn will be remembered most for her sense of humour, selflessness and passion for life. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who brought her great pride and joy. Special memories were made when she vacationed in Mexico, Cuba, Florida, Minneapolis, and made numerous trips to North Dakota with her daughters and their families. She also loved her time alone, where she would read, garden, quilt and more recently research her ancestry. She was predeceased by her father, Jack Koltucky. She is survived by her mother, Dorthy Koltucky; daughters, Jennifer Kingsley (Fred), Jackie Presley (Luke); sister Marlene Swain; brother Norman Koltucky (Lise); sister-in-law Janet Presley (Jack); nieces, Mistie McIntyre (Chuck), Kim Loepp (Scott), Ashleigh Kyryliuk (Sheldon) and Megan Presley; nephew Jason Hazlehurst (Rhonda); grandchildren, Scott, Kara and Beckham. Evelyn will also be missed by numerous cousins and close friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Evelyn's memory to the Manitoba Deaf and Blind Association or CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
