MICHAEL WALTER DOWLER BEGLEY It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Begley, on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the age of 69 years. Mike will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his son Michael; daughter Liz; grandchildren: Ryan and Kassidy; sisters: Pat Stewart, Maggie Lawrence, Elizabeth Begley, Aunt Babe Bannatyne; as well as a niece, many nephews, cousins and friends. Mike was predeceased by his parents Walter and Margaret (nee Dowler). Mike was born in Winnipeg on January 21, 1941. He grew up in River Heights and lived in St. Boniface for most of his adult life. He worked at Canada Packers for over 25 years, finishing his working career as a truck driver for HMS Meats. Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father, children and friends. He adored both of his grandchildren and was very proud of them and his children. He will be missed but never forgotten. A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Monday, January 24 at 1:30 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
