Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD E. PRATT Reverend Donald Ernest Pratt died suddenly in his sleep February 13, 2011 at Oakview Place Extendicare in Winnipeg. Don and June Fry were married in 1946. Don was predeceased by his mother, Lillian Pratt (Clarke) and father Ernest Pratt; also his brothers, Marshall and Ross; and his sister Doreen McDougall (nee) Pratt. Don will be sadly missed by the members of his family; his wife June; his children, Rob, Jim and Terese (nee) Lawrence, and Margaret; and grandchildren, Keynan, Kelsey, Braydon, Leah, Celina, Alexandria, Tyler and his many friends. Don was brought up in Winnipeg and in the Home Street Church of Christ (Disciples). He attended United College for his BA and degree in Theology. His first church was in Owen Sound, followed by the Home Street Church in Winnipeg. He joined the United Church of Canada in 1954 and was sent to Forrest, MB, then Chalmers United in Winnipeg, Newtonbrook United in Toronto and retired from St. Andrew's River Heights United in Winnipeg. Don loved to sing and to play the violin and listen to classical music. He enjoyed going to our cottage at Victoria Beach and Albert Beach. We miss him! Don's memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's River Heights United Church on Friday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Hugo Unruh will be officiating.
