Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET RANKIN Peacefully, on February 9, 2011, at the Betel Home, Gimli, Margaret Rankin, aged 84 years passed away. Margaret was born on June 17, 1926 in Gloucester, England. She came to Canada in 1946, living in Gimli for the past 45 years. She is survived by daughter-in-law Judy; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister Mary (England); numerous nieces and nephews (England) and very special and devoted friend Kathie Kushnir. She was predeceased by husband Fred, son Chris, and brother Pat (England). Margaret was involved in the Gimli Women's Institute, managed the Norseman Motel, and had a souvenir and ceramic shop. She spent four years in post war Germany with Fred and Chris whilst Fred served in the R.C.A.F. A Memorial Service will be held at the Betel Home, Gimli.
