EDITH QUIRION Peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Beausejour Hospital, Edith Quirion, aged 86 years, passed away. She was predeceased by her husband Roger and sister Pearl. She will always be remembered by her four children, Roger (Marge), Bill (Paula), Marie (Walter) and Donna, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also her sisters Mable-Ruth, Agnes, Eileen, Audrey and Marlene (Mitch). Mom was born in Fairford, Manitoba. She worked several jobs in Winnipeg before retiring. Mom belonged to the Women's Branch C.W.A.C. of the armed forces during the Second World War. One of her passions in life was music. She played different instruments and loved to sing. She fought hard during her last year of life and was very brave. The family would like to thank the staff of Health Sciences Centre Dialysis Unit and the Selkirk Dialysis Unit, also all the staff of the Beausejour Hospital who took great care of our mom.
