GRETA M. POGSON 1922 - 2011 Suddenly on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, Greta passed away at the age of 89. Greta was predeceased by her brother Harvey and her sister Doris. She will be greatly missed by her sister Divona and eight nieces and nephews; Phyllis, Thelma, Robert, Alan, George, Judith, Wendy and Luanne, all whom she loved dearly. Greta was born in Mather, Manitoba then moved to Crystal City where she completed her education. She was an excellent student, taking courses in book keeping and accounting. Following her college years she moved to Winnipeg. She worked for Skinner Brothers and the RCMP Office. She enjoyed handiwork in her youth, and later cooking and baking. Greta taught Sunday School for 20 years and continued relationships with the teenage girls she taught. She was a beautiful Christian, knew and loved the scriptures and spent much time in prayer. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple, Buntain Chapel with viewing a half hour prior to the service. The funeral will be conducted by Pastor Martin and Pastor Logan. Reception will follow at the church immediately after the service.
