GRACE PROCEVIAT With her family at her side, Grace (Margaret) Proceviat (nee McConnechie) passed away at the Whitemouth Personal Care Home on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the age of 74 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Tony of 50 years; brother Peter (Bobbi); daughters, Kathy (Willy), Colleen (Tim), Darlene (Jason); grandchildren, Randy, Jeff, Matthew and Devon. She was predeceased by her parents, Duncan and Margaret (nee Walker) McConnechie. Mom was born in Winnipeg, MB on January 8, 1937. She married Dad on October 15, 1960. They lived in Falcon Lake, MB owning and operating the Shell Station. In 1978, they moved to Elma, MB where they owned and operated T T Strawberry Farm for many years. After they retired from strawberries, Mom turned her love for cooking into a catering business (Grace's Catering). We will always remember Mom for her love of people and her positive attitude. We would like to thank the ladies at the Whitemouth Personal Care Home for their love and tender care for our Mom. Also, a special thank-you to all the Home Care workers for their patience and understanding. Services will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery in Elma, MB.
