M. P. HERATH Peacefully after a brief illness, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on May 20, 2011 at the age of 84 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Sumana; his children, Samitha (Dr. Mahendra), Lasanthi (Manjula), Rasika, Upul (Darshika); grandchildren, Nilu, Dilendra, Melanie, Melissa, Shanali, Amali, Ishara, Anishka and many other close relatives. He was born in Sri Lanka and migrated to Winnipeg in June 1983. He was a lover of classical music and best known for his violin skills in his early years. He was a wonderful man that had done so much for others. Many thanks to the staff at the Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home and Grace General Hospital for their excellent care. Buddhist funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thompson in the Park Funeral Home on 1291 McGillivary Blvd.
