BLANCHE NELSON (SHANAS) At 84 years old, Blanche has passed away. That sorrowful day was Friday, the 20th of May, 2011 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Mom leaves behind, to miss her terribly, her loving partner Roger Lambert; her son and daughter Gregg and Debbie Nelson, along with many friends too numerous to mention. Blanche was very active, had many interests and her age did not reflect that. One of her most recent accomplishments was volunteering at the Seven Oaks Hospital for a period of 13 years. Coincidentally she started volunteering at the Seven Oaks on May the 8th, the same time she took ill. In keeping with Mom's wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to CancerCare Manitoba in memory of Blanche.
