Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHILIPPE JOSEPH PRINCE 1933 - 2011 Peacefully on June 19, 2011, Philippe passed away at Taché Centre after a long illness. Philippe will be lovingly remembered by his wife Yvette; daughter Carole, son Guy (Audrey), granddaughters: Danielle, Catherine, Laura and Diana; siblings: Paul (Suzanne), Napoleon, Lucille (Charles), numerous family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Parmelisa Prince; sisters: Irene, Thérèse, Alice; brothers: Jean, Maurice, Albert and Joseph. Philippe was born in St. Boniface. After his college education he worked for the City of St. Boniface and then CNR until his retirement. The family was very important to him and he took great interest in researching the family genealogy. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus - et la Societé Historique. For many years he sang in the choirs les Intrepides, Partage de Bonheur etc., loved to listen to classical and popular music, reading, walking, travelling and sharing happy times with family and friends. He was kind, a devoted husband and grandfather and a man of deep faith. He will be sadly missed and will be in our hearts forever. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Taché Centre on 5ABC and 3ABC for their excellent care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Philippe's name to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-20 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. In keeping with Philippe's wishes cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 22, at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. Repose en paix on t'aime papa The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.
