JAMES R. CORRIGAL May 2, 1932 - July 17, 2011 Born in Saskatoon, Ron moved to Winnipeg in his teenage years and has made it his home ever since. Ron is survived by the love of his life and wife of 58 years, Mary Jane. He is also survived by his sons, Gerry (Lisa) and Steve (Mona), grandchildren James, Samantha, Megan and Eric. Ron led a life of great significance but was never one to take credit for his many accomplishments. He was a humble man and a great teacher of the important cornerstones of life: honesty, integrity, strong moral and family values. Ron retired in 1990 as President of McElhoes Duffy Insurance Brokers. Ron Mary Jane enjoyed many winter trips to Texas and Sydney, BC and enjoyed their seasonal home in Warroad, Minnesota. A husband, father, grandfather, and business man, Ron truly lead a full and happy life, one he leaves with no regrets. Respecting Ron's wishes, interment will take place at a private family gathering. Ron's family would like to thank the palliative care nurses who attended Ron at home and the staff of Riverview Health Centre 3East, for the wonderful care given to Ron. God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you and whispered, come to me. A golden heart stopped beating, our special loved one now at rest.
