EVELINE IRENE PREFONTAINE (nee LAMBERT) 1917 -2011 Surrounded by the love of her family, Evéline passed away at the Centre Medico DeSalaberry in St. Pierre - Jolys, MB on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the age of 94. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Marc (Eva Laurencelle), Luc (Ida Preteau), Claire, Jean, Beatrice (Eugene Ritchot), Leo (Jocelyne Peloquin), Rachelle, Janine (Kevin Leroux), Gisele, Irene (Harold McLean). She will also be missed by 21 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. As well, she is survived by her brother-in-law Germain Lavergne, sisters-in -law Louise Prefontaine, Eveline Tessier and Laurette Lambert. She was predeceased by her loving husband Victor (1996), her daughter Monique (Gilbert Laurencelle), her grandson Todd Milne (1974) and her great grandsons Jack Leroux (2001) and Maxime Wotherspoon (2008). Also predeceased by her parents Henri and Antoinette (Vinet) Lambert, her sisters Yvonne Fontaine, Gertrude Lafrance, Simone Gosselin, her brothers Leo, Jean (O.M.I.), Jules, infant Jules and a large extended family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Scleroderma Research to the Arthritis Society, Suite 105-386 Broadway, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 3R6 The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Centre Medico De Salaberry in St. Pierre-Jolys for their kind and compassionate care. We are also extremely grateful and appreciative for the devotion and commitment of the Home Care Staff at the Manoir in St. Pierre-Jolys. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at 2:00 pm at the St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church.
