Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN PODOLAK (nee MELNYK) August 22, 1930 August 15, 2011 We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jean Podolak, wife, mother and grandmother, on August 15, 2011. After a very long and very hard battle with cancer, she is now at rest. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Bill; daughters Lynn (Gord) Davies, Debra (Jerry) Bogan, grandson Ryan (Zara) Davies and granddaughter Lauren Bogan. Cremation has taken place, and in keeping with Jean's wishes a private family service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the Gimli Hospital for all the care and compassion they gave Jean.
