NANCY HINATSU After a long courageous battle with cancer, Nancy Hinatsu finally found her peace on August 23, 2011. Nancy's greatest accomplishment has been and will always be her family. It was her biggest goal in life to never leave her family in want. Her main purpose in life was to be a mother and grandmother. Nancy always prided herself on providing her family with anything and everything they ever needed. In that endeavour she most certainly succeeded. Her generosity of spirit and kind disposition was a boon to all that had the privilege of knowing her. Her bubbly personality and kind heart will be forever missed but never forgotten. Nancy spent her formative years in Winnipeg, where she graduated from Daniel McIntyre in 1958 and subsequently began honing her skills as a secretary and stenographer through her graduation from Success Business College. A brief stint in Toronto resulted in meeting her future husband Raymond Hinatsu. Nancy's finest years of employment occurred between 1978 and 1992, where she excelled as an employee of the Hudson's Bay Company. Nancy is survived by her husband of 44 years Raymond, her two sons Christopher and Michael, her two beautiful grandchildren Matthew and Katie, her daughter-in-law Larcy and her siblings Chiyeko Bishop, Kazue Suga and Richard Suga. Due to Nancy's insistence on never being the object of attention, she requested an intimate memorial be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 for her very close friends and family. If friends so desire, memorial tributes can be made to the CancerCare Foundation of Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our web site.
