Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT WINSTON THOMAS (BOBBY) It is with great sadness the we the family announce the passing of Bobby Thomas in Winnipeg, MB on August 24, 2011 at the age of 66 years. Bobby leaves to cherish his memory his wife Dorothy, daughters Deborah (Darrell) and Gwen (Darren), son Robert (Lisa), grandsons Dennis, Jessie, Brian, Brycen, Todd and Max, granddaughters Shian and Samantha, eight brothers and three sisters, three brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by his parents Melvin and Alvina Thomas, father-in-law Ronald Shaw, sister Beverly Lowing, sister-in-law Beverly Thomas and best friend Eddie Lik. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with viewing starting at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2011 from the Raymond Flett United Church, 1493 Magnus, with Rev. Mary Best officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare (Prostate) or a charity of one's choice. Papa I don't know where to start, you were such a caring loving papa you always knew how to make me smile or laugh I miss you so much. I wish I could have told you so many things if I knew you were going to be gone soon. I think about you every day papa it's almost been a year in a few more months.
