Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARMAND PROTEAU Armand David Joseph Proteau, 76, of St. Adolphe, MB, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre. He was born to the late David and Stella Proteau, January 3, 1935 in St. Boniface. Armand grew up in St. Adolphe with his four sisters and two brothers and raised a family of his own on his farm. He worked for Eaton's, Canadian Pacific Railway, and Canada Packers then he semi-retired to own and operate a campground in Eastern Manitoba before retiring. Armand shared his family's passion for music and was the drummer of the family. Armand is survived by his wife Irene and two children: Kenneth and Vincent; and sister Alice. Armand now joins his daughter: Susan; sisters: Lucille, Annette, and Irene; brothers Edward and Victor. The family would like to thank all the caring staff at the H.S.C., especially the Coronary Care Unit for making Armand's remaining time with us as comfortable as possible. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. In honour of Armand's wishes, no funeral services will be held and a private burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 775-2220.
