LORRAINE BRISEBOIS Lorraine Brisebois (nee Proulx) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Regina General Hospital at the age of 72. She was predeceased by her father, Wilfrid Proulx; mother, Marie Louise (nee Pelletier) and younger brother, Denis Proulx. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Leo; daughter, Louise (Michael) Wilson of Oakville ON; son, Maurice (Michelle) Brisebois of Oakville, ON; grandchildren, Stefan and Lucian Brisebois; brother, Paul (Flora) Proulx of Ste. Rose du Lac, MB as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lorraine and Leo founded and ran a piling company in Winnipeg for 25 years before retiring to Meyronne, SK where she was an active participant in the community. Over the years Lorraine volunteered and participated in varied organizations such as the Kidney Foundation, Bingo at Christ the King Church and the Wood River Horticultural Society. She loved gardening, cooking, all her pets but mostly the company of friends and family. A memorial service will be held at the Meyronne Community Hall at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011. Interment will occur at a later date in Ste. Rose du Lac, MB. Donations in memory of Lorraine may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation.
